Quechua and Chocolate Club

"Allinllachu (ay yeen YA choo) Steeple Run! It’s that time of year…Before 1492 when Columbus sailed the ocean blue, millions of people already lived in North and South America. Quechua is one of the languages that was spoken in South America and is still spoken today by 8 to 10 million people Join us for the Quechua and chocolate club!

Interested fourth and fifth-grade students may sign up for this club to learn to speak Quechua. We’ll meet Fridays after school in the Multi-Purpose Room from 2:30-3:30pm. Bring your favorite mug and tasty beverage to relax and learn to speak this fascinating language. This club is perfect for people who are interested in other cultures and languages.
